Leica M11-P Safari

The Leica Safari editions have been highly regarded since the 70s. Featuring the coveted olive-green paint finish and leatherette covering, as well as stylishly staged design elements in silver, the Leica M11-P Safari is writing the next chapter of this success story. Exquisite engravings and the deliberate omission of the red Leica logo round off the M11-P Safari – a true embodiment of timeless aesthetics and classic elegance. With technical specifications based on the Leica M11-P, this special edition will win photography enthusiasts over with its exceptional performance and ingeniously crafted operation.

The Leica M11-P Safari pulls off the same extraordinary technological feats as the base Leica M11-P model: equipped with Content Credentials technology, the M11-P Safari can sign every image with tamper-proof metadata, such as the camera model and copyright information, as well as creation dates and file editing changes. Its internal 256 GB memory and optional UHS-II card slot allows creatives to capture in DNG and JPG formats, while the LCD panel is made of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and features an anti-reflective coating, allows for full control even in challenging visibility conditions.

Brilliant images that are rich in contrast and details are created by the high-performance BSI CMOS full-frame sensor with Triple Resolution Technology, which enables a choice of image resolutions from 60, 36 or 18 megapixels. Thanks to seamless connectivity via wireless and wired connections, the camera can be quickly and conveniently connected with the Leica FOTOS App.

Bluetooth Low Energy allows photos to be transmitted in the background in a way that is both quick and energy efficient.

Details That Make The Difference

The M11-P accentuates the M series' signature subtlety with unique features. The intentional absence of the iconic red Leica dot, the signature Leica script on the top plate, and the scratch-resistant sapphire glass display, coupled with a matte black finish, grant the camera an unparalleled elegance and discreet appearance.

  • Content Credentials: The Leica M11-P is the world's first camera capable of verifying the authenticity of digital images.
  • 256GB Internal Memory: The MIl-P stores DNG and JPG data either in the generous internal memory or on SD cards with UHS-II standards.
  • Monitor Made Of Sapphire Crystal Glass: The LCD monitor made of sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflection protective coating enables an optimal evaluation of the pictures in all lighting conditions.
Combining the strengths of the M11 family

The M11-P, akin to the Leica M11, houses the high-performance BSI CMOS full-frame sensor equipped with Triple Resolution Technology, delivering resolutions as high as 60 megapixels. This ensures radiant images, replete with natural colors, vast dynamic range, and exquisite detail. Its high-resolution touch display, covering 100% of the sRGB color space, enables accurate evaluation of image sharpness and exposure.

Storage won't be an issue with the M11-P. Beyond its UHS-II SD card slot, it boasts an internal memory of 256GB, which allows for redundant media storage in two locations. The Maestro III image processor's robust buffer accommodates even the highest resolutions for a seamless shooting experience.
